JOB DESCRIPTION 

CORPORATION OLP CENTER, INC. 

JOB POSITION WAITSTAFF 

JOB FUNCTION 
This position will be responsible to provide professional and courteous service to our clients. 
Reports directly to the Chef Manager, Souse Chef and Head Waiter/Waitress. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

• Waitstaff must arrive in uniform at the time noted on their schedule. 
• Set tables as directed by Head Waiter for particular function. 
- Place salt and pepper shakers, sugar and under liners for salad dressings on tables.
- Silverware, glassware and china must be checked for breaks, chips or stains. 
- Wait staff must be careful to set tables appropriately so all place settings are in unison. 
- Wait staff are responsible to fold and place napkins at individual place settings. 
• For weddings or special occasion parties, set-up trays with doily and champagne glasses to be passed to the guests for formal toast. 
• Clearing the foyer, porch, outside areas and dining rooms at all times. Be sure to check the floor for debris and spills to avoid possible accidents. 
• Clear tables and arrange place settings after each course. Tables must be kept presentable and clear of empty bottles, glasses, etc, at all times. 
• Separate all glassware into proper racks for washing. 
• Clean all trays, refrigerator, sink area, coffee machine, shelves, table, slide where dirty glasses are, take out any trash and or boxes to appropriate dumpster, etc. 
• Wait station should be totally cleared of trash, debris and soiled linens. 
- Please put our linens in the back room in the proper linen bag. 
- If there are rented linens they need to go in a different linen bag and will be told by Head Waiter where that bag is. 
- Kitchen towels go in the gray bucket under the sink in the kitchen. 
- At the end of functions, refill and clean all salt and pepper shakers and sugar bowls, as needed. 
- Assist in cleaning the wait staff station, including sweeping and washing the floors after each function. 
• At time designated by head waiter, Wait staff will assist the hostess break down cheese display. 
• Wait staff under the age of 18 years of age do not handle wine or liquor during functions. 
• ALL wait staff will be assigned late shifts. 
• Wait staff will do the final cleanup and break down of dessert room in cooperation with the kitchen staff. 
• Wait staff must attend to additional duties assigned by the Chef Manager/Souse Chef, and /or Head Waiter. 
• Wait staff must be clean and presentable at all times. 
- Hair neatly combed. 
- Shoulder length hair and longer must be pulled back and out of face while working. 
- Dress code: Black tuxedo pants, long sleeved whit tuxedo shirt, black socks, black vest, black bow tie and black rubber soled shoes. 
• Wait staff MUST be courteous, polite and helpful to our clients at all times. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 
• Must be 16 years or older. 
• Must be responsible and able to relate to the public. 
• Must be able to follow instructions properly and correctly.
